About
My name is Marie Wolf and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I am vey lucky to have found the love of my life, my husband Tom. We have been married for over 10 years and also have two amazing daughters. Sydney just turned 6 years old in January and is loving Kindergarten. She spends most of her time reading books, writing stories, riding her bike outside and dressing up like a princess. She is very interested in science and how things work and has an endless list of questions. She is wise beyond her years already at 6. Delaney is 4 1/2 and is attending preschool part time and is definitely on the silly side. Like her sister, she also has strong interests in science. She finds dinosaurs fascinating and many other animals as well. She could watch animal planet all day long if you let her. Delaney also loves to read books, play ball, run & jump on/off things and she is an all around happy spirited kid who is always in the mood to be silly and make you laugh.
I am a stay home mom with perks! I get to enjoy all the benefits of a stay at home Mom but also managed to find the flexibility to work on the side too. As you can imagine, so much of what I am passionate about in my life is my children. My girls never stop amazing me and like most parents, I am constantly thinking of ways that I can offer them more opportunity to learn, have fun and just be a kid. At the same time, I always keep my eyes peeled for things that don’t seem right. Along the way, I started looking at programs for my girls where they enjoy social playtime, learn through adventure and have fun. During my search I found that it was really hard to find out “good places” verses “not so good” places which prompted the idea of starting MyChildCareGuide, where parents can search and review child care providers based on a scorecard of criteria. I invite you to visit my website http://www.MyChildCareGuide.com.
I started this blog to discuss so many of the ongoing topics that parents face while raising their children. Please join me and share your own views or concerns. Together as parents, we can make a difference in our community, city, state and country and make our world a better place for our kids.
